Assistant Manager - Real Estate Valuations

Technical skills

• Expertise in all the Real Estate offerings (PPA – ASC 805, Fair Value Measurement – ASC 820, Lease abstraction, above below – ASC 842, etc.).
• Responsible for end-to-end Real Estate valuations/ audit reviews and appraising third-party valuation reports.
• Responsible for financial and cash flow modeling in Excel and Argus, market information research, analysis of real estate documents, (including site/building plans, leases, appraisals, and mortgage underwriting/lending documents), market studies, and report writing
• Expertise in income, market and cost approaches
• Proficiency in using research databases like Costar, MVS, and Argus.
• Be responsible for the high-quality timely delivery of projects by self and the team members.
• Coach a team of Real Estate valuation professionals
• Manage workflow, delivery, team utilization and act as KGS point of contact for the onshore Geo(s)
• Be involved in recruitment, learning and development and performance management
• Build strong brand equity with onshore stakeholders
• Strong integrity and commitment to professional standards; team-oriented approach.
• Strong personal drive to meet tight deadlines in high-pressure situations; collaborative yet capable of working independently.
• Experience in handling client communication (calls and emails)
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in imparting classroom trainings on valuation topics to junior team members

• Educational qualifications
• CA / CFA / MBA / Member of RICS or MAI (Specialization in Real Estate)
• Work experience

• The candidate must have 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience for the US market.
