Full-Time Floor Tech/Fill in - Washington Co

• This job is located in the Washington County area of Florida. The floor tech will be responsible for schools located in both Chipley and Vernon, FL.
• Hours will vary but work will be done in between times of 3 pm - 11 pm.
• This is a full-time position.

JOB PURPOSE

Performs various tasks to provide a clean environment for schools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wash floors as scheduled by supervisor.
2. Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
3. Report any needed repairs.
4. Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.
5. Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.

• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)
• 3 years of floor tech experience is preferred.
• Experience with cleaning products, procedures, equipment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in a janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning role is required.
• Demonstrated good customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public.
• A positive attitude and a strong, reliable work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay: 15/hr
