About the Role

Our team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to join our Architecture team remotely in Poland to help build & scale Rho’s all-in-one finance platform.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

• Deep expertise in Python, async programming and performance optimization
• Experience building web apps and services to support a great product
• Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures including trade-offs made to either support higher load or lower latency within an application
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools
• Experience working within complex, regulated environments, coordinating across multiple partners and stakeholders.
• Experience in a start-up or enterprise within a highly technical market segment, such as AI, security, finance and blockchain, or infrastructure

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Go/TypeScript/Ruby or similar technologies
• Proficiency building & deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with message brokers and event streaming platforms
• Experience working in a cloud computing platform like GCP or AWS
• Experience working in finance including an understanding of how different payment networks work, e.g. ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT
• Knowledge of accounting or financial software
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
