Senior Software Development Engineer, Amazon Leo - Developer Productivity, AI, Test and Simulation

From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.Developer Productivity, AI, Test and Simulations team is responsible for developer experience, builder operations, CICD and Infrastructure services. We are looking for engineers with experience in designing backend services, five 9 service availability and metrics, with advanced knowledge of AWS cloud services infrastructure such as IAM, Lambdas, Cloud watch, API gateways etc. Deep knowledge on leveraging Generative AI for productivity tooling is required. Proficiency in at least one of TypeScript/Python/GoLang is an added advantage.The candidate would participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test to operations. You will participate in the design, integration and improvement of the software. This includes designing and implementing a wide range of software using AWS stack, sometimes requiring partnership with low level embedded code software systems and architecting scalable design solutions for software distribution and deployment for satellites.
