About The Role
Associate Manager / Medical Lead Japan & APAC YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as a member of cross-functional and cross-regional team across Global /APACPlan medical initiatives in line with global/local strategic imperatives and execute themGenerate new evidence through IIR, ISCS and/or CSSMediate doctor-to-doctor medical education by leveraging generated evidenceReview and approve promotional materialsManage thought-leader relationships through scientific communicationOrganize and lead scientific advisory board meetingsContribute to scientific publications WHO YOU ARE:・University degree or above preferably in science-related field in radiology areas (preferably radiologist / radiological technologist)Experience・3+ years in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry (open to various therapeutic areas)・Experience developing and executing medical strategies for pharmaceutical brands・Clinical research and trial management experienceCommunication & Interpersonal Skills・Excellent presentation skills; able to represent the company professionally at medical and scientific events・Strong written and verbal communication skills; English proficiency required and preference for Japanese speakers but not mandatory ・Ability to engage authoritatively with healthcare professionals and investigators・Relationship-building and persuasion skillsLeadership & Collaboration・Leadership ability with skills to motivate teams・Strong team player who can collaborate across a large organizationCore Competencies・Strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach・Solid analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills・Organized with attention to detail・Adaptable, innovative, and proactiveOther Requirements・Budget and resource management skills・Willingness to travel internationally (Japan and ASEAN countries) WHAT BAYER CAN OFFER YOU: We offer a competitive a salary package consisting of an annual basic salary and Short-Term Incentive (STI) bonus and top performance award and so on, tailored to your role at BayerWe provide various special paid day-offs on top of given annual paid vacation days.
