Network Engineer I

Job Summary The Network Engineer I assists higher level network administrators in the administration, maintenance, and operation of the organization’s networks. Adheres to Air Methods policies and procedures as required to maintain regulatory and operational compliance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: • Provide support and troubleshooting of routing and switching enterprise technologies in complex networking environments. Troubleshooting includes WAN routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, FHRP, multi-layer overlay networking, etc.), LAN switching (VLANs, layer 3 switching, EoMPLS, trunking, port-channeling), VoIP (WAN usage, QoS, PSTN, H.323, SIP). • Assist in the administration of security technologies such as firewalling,...
