Senior Operating Room Assistant - Surgery Services

The Senior Operating Room Assistant supports the effective and efficient functioning of the Surgical Services Department at Providence Everett – Colby Campus. The individual in this role is responsible for assisting with operating room turnover between surgical cases, providing patient transport, and performing Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) functions such as clerical support, communication, and supply management. The position requires direct interaction with patients and clinical staff to support high-quality patient care and efficient workflows. Assists the surgical staff with patient care including patient transport, supplies, equipment, instruments, and care of the environment. Assists with completion of case carts and preparation of positioning devices and equipment.
