About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Management System - Maintain QMS procedures, work instructions, forms, and documentation.
  • Ensure processes meet quality and customer requirements.
  • Audits & Corrective Actions - Conduct internal audits and identify process gaps.
  • Track corrective actions and verify effective resolution.
  • Quality Data & Reporting - Monitor quality metrics, trends, and performance.
  • Prepare reports and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Support process improvements and standardization.
  • Training & Operational Support - Support quality training and communicate process changes.
  • Partner with Operations and other teams to resolve quality issues.

Work Environment

  • Primarily works in a warehouse and operational environment.
  • Regular interaction with warehouse employees, supervisors, managers, leadership, and cross-functional departments.
  • May require time spent on the warehouse floor observing processes, conducting audits, investigating issues, and supporting training.
  • Must be comfortable working in an environment where operational priorities and quality requirements may change.
  • May require occasional travel or support across multiple warehouse locations, as needed.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Quality, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Previous experience in quality, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, transportation, or a similar operational environment preferred.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems, internal auditing, document control, corrective action, or continuous improvement preferred.
  • Experience in a similar quality, compliance, operations, or process improvement role is beneficial.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate quality data and trends.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management principles preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and follow corrective actions through completion.
  • Machinery/tools: Ability to safely and effectively use standard office equipment and technology required for documentation, reporting, data analysis, communication, and quality management activities. Familiarity with warehouse operational equipment and processes is beneficial.
