This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Manager - MENA based in Netherlands.

This is a high-impact opportunity to manage strategic B2B SaaS relationships across the MENA region within the fintech, fraud, payments, and compliance <space.You> will own a portfolio of key customers, serving as their trusted advisor and internal advocate.The role combines account management, technical problem-solving, strategic analysis, and customer <success.You> will help organizations maximize the value of sophisticated risk, fraud, compliance, and payment solutions.Working closely with analytics, data science, integrations, and product teams, you will turn complex challenges into actionable <outcomes.You> will also identify opportunities for account growth, improve customer efficiency, and contribute to long-term strategic planning.This role is ideal for an analytical, commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-moving, globally distributed environment.

Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic customers, managing both day-to-day needs and long-term opportunities while maximizing customer ROI.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the product, technology, and strategic direction, communicating complex concepts clearly and effectively to customer stakeholders.
  • Translate technical, product, fraud, and compliance challenges into practical solutions and coordinate resolution processes across internal and external teams.
  • Advise customers on fraud, payments, compliance, and risk-management best practices, helping them address emerging challenges and improve operational outcomes.
  • Define, monitor, analyze, and communicate customer KPIs, using data and insights to demonstrate value and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide strategic analysis and critical thinking to support customer expansion plans and identify opportunities for deeper adoption of products and services.
  • Collaborate with risk analytics teams to identify new fraud typologies, develop proactive solutions, and communicate relevant findings and recommendations to customers.
  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders and initiatives, ensuring projects remain aligned with customer priorities, business objectives, and expected outcomes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Risk Management, Solutions Architecture, or a comparable customer-facing function within B2B SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of API-based customer integrations and the ability to communicate effectively about technical products and workflows.
  • Professional experience in fraud, payments, compliance, fintech, AML/KYC, or related financial technology domains; banking experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience working directly with customers, including presenting to and influencing a range of technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret business intelligence data, identify meaningful trends, and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to synthesize diverse inputs and balance competing stakeholder priorities.
  • Ability to simplify complex strategies, technologies, and business problems into clear processes and measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive, improvement-oriented mindset with strong ownership and a genuine focus on helping customers become more efficient and successful.
