Lab assistant | Zaventem | ENG

We are looking for a lab tech assistant for a large medical company specialized in clinical research in Zaventem. On a daily basis you will be assisting the medical technologist.

Your tasks

• You work in the lab testing areas (EIA/micro/flow and molecular).
• You ensure waste disposal.
• You monitor stock levels and supplies.
• You will scan, receive and distribute samples in the laboratory
• You will do some maintenance of instruments like centrifuges, fridges and freezers
• You will organize the workspaces, wash glassware, creating hematology slides, refilling the consumables for the lab team.
• You carry out lab clean-up on a weekly/biweekly basis.
• You provide support in preparation for client- and/or regulatory audits.
• You support on preparing general solutions as required by the audits.

Your profile

• You have very good spoken and written knowledge of English
• You have obtained your secondary education
• You always work accurately
• You can work according to the prescribed safety regulations
• You are flexible in terms of tasks
