About The Role
The Division of Critical Care at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking 2 full-time Pediatric Intensivists to join the clinical team. Salary and track will be commensurate with training and experience. The full-time position offers a competitive salary, and a rich retirement benefit program. The position includes patient care responsibilities in a state of the art, 20 bed multi-disciplinary Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Other duties include teaching residents and medical students, a pediatric sedation service, and pediatric/neonatal ECMO. The Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Division have a long tradition of providing outstanding, comprehensive care to the children of New Mexico. New Mexico’s rich cultural and linguistic diversity make it a fascinating and wonderful place to live and work. Situated along the beautiful Sandia Mountains and traversed by the Rio Grande, Albuquerque is New Mexico’s largest city, with a growing population in the greater metropolitan area now exceeding 900,000.
