About The Role

As a Mechanical Engineer within the Service Engineering team, you will act as a solution architect, transforming customer needs into technical modifications that improve the performance and reliability of our packaging systems worldwide. Joining an international and cross-functional environment, you will contribute to the Regular Portfolio, with a strong focus on process-related machine modifications. Working closely with engineering, project, and service teams, you will support the evolution of mechanical modules while helping customers adapt and optimize their production lines. Reporting within the Service Engineering organization, you will play a key role in turning technical challenges into sustainable and efficient solutions. Your Missions Design and develop modifications for parts, sub-assemblies, and complete mechanical modules, with a focus on process machines. Translate customer requirements into technically feasible and cost-effective engineering solutions. Contribute actively to quotation activities, design reviews, functional analysis, and FMEA processes. Ensure compliance with Sidel design standards, product evolution processes, and platform architecture principles. Manage technical problem-solving activities while ensuring quality, timing, and project deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to support project success and continuous product improvement.
