We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fire Alarm System Construction Sales Representative to join our high-performing team in Houston, TX. We’re looking for a relationship-driven sales professional with a strong background in fire alarm construction sales or service. In this role, you’ll identify new opportunities, build long-term partnerships with customers, and promote tailored fire alarm solutions that enhance building safety and compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Proactively develop and grow sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Conduct consistent cold calls and outside sales visits to generate leads and expand market presence.
• Perform building surveys and develop comprehensive sales proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Present and negotiate service agreements including inspections, preventive maintenance, system monitoring, and repairs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate estimates, specifications, and sales presentations.
• Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively position solutions.
• Prepare and manage sales forecasts, activity reports, and expense documentation.
• Analyze inspection reports and coordinate with service management to develop repair quotes.
• Support customer retention and satisfaction efforts through responsive communication and trusted advisement.

QualificationsWhat You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of proven success in fire alarm system construction sales or related service sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record (no violations in the past 3 years).
• NICET Level I Certification in Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, or Special Hazards (preferred).
• Technical understanding of fire alarm systems, electronics, or related software is a plus.
• Self-motivated team player with a professional demeanor and results-driven approach.
