Responsibilities
Supervision of Business Office Functions
Prepare, submit, receive, and verify reports
Accounts Receivable and Collections (Insurance billing, Medicaid billing, Medicare billing, private pay billing, and follow up. Computer knowledge and understanding)
Monitor accounts receivable and collections
Maintain accurate census and payer information
Assist residents and families with billing questions and Medicaid processes
Work with admissions and leadership to ensure accurate financial records
Residents' Rights Functions
Qualifications
LONG TERM CARE (OR MEDICAL OFFICE) EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Skilled nursing facility billing experience preferred
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing
Strong organizational and communication skills
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and government regulators, and work cooperatively with other associates at all levels
