Therefore, we are looking for a Junior Business Controlling Analyst to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology. Your role in our team As our new Business Controlling Analyst, you will play a key role in our ongoing transformation of the finance area. You will help ensure strong setup across the business to support cost and CAPEX (investment) controlling. You will be responsible for analyzing costs and CAPEX, including tasks such as month-end closing, cost drill downs, forecasting, and budgeting. You will work with financial data, create insights, and engage with stakeholders across Terma to connect and explain financial performance. In this role, you will contribute to establishing the Terma way of working within cost and CAPEX controlling, including developing standardized and well-documented processes and supporting the implementation of tools. You will become part of the diverse Integrated Product Development Finance and Cost Controlling team, consisting of six colleagues, collaborating across Brasov and Lystrup (Denmark). You will become part of a small and dedicated team of cost controllers located in Brasov and Lystrup (Denmark). As a relatively new team, we are in the process of shaping our way of working, constantly adapting and refining our processes. This means we are an agile, flexible, and collaborative team that thrives in a dynamic environment. Your key responsibilities include: Cost and CAPEX controlling for selected areas with full scope from month-end to budgeting and reporting support to the budget owners With the team build a robust process, document it and continuingly enhance it Work in our ERP, Power BI and EPM solutions Engaging with stakeholders on cost and CAPEX matters to provide insights, challenge and support through the Terma organization Work with reporting, including explaining variances and deviations by focusing on the root cause Contribute to the team and our entire Global Finance team by being active and proactive to improve our way of working even further Bring your world class expertise into play You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications: You hold a Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in finance, business administration, economics or other relevant You have up to 1–2 years of experience within finance and a solid understanding of financial principles, processes, and tools Experience working with EPR, BI and EPM systems As a person, you are proactive, a strong team player, open-minded, and detail-oriented. You thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing operational tasks while also identifying opportunities for standardization and improvement. You enjoy engaging with a variety of stakeholders, both within and outside of finance, and have strong communication and collaboration skills.
