About The Role
Job Description Job Description This position will require 1 on 1 interactions with infants and toddlers in early childhood education classrooms. The interactions will be guided by the Early Learning Matters curriculum and focused on promoting conversational interactions that are responsive and stimulating for young children. It will also include general, research project related duties as they arise, including clear communication and professional interactions with project staff and early childhood education teachers and directors. Essential Job Duties Travel to and from early childhood education centers. Interact effectively with infants and toddlers. This includes effective time management and be adaptable as working with very young children and early childhood classrooms require flexibility. Collaborate effectively with project staff, including faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate students. Anticipated Weekly Hours 5 - 10 hours per week Hourly Rate $25 per hour Minimum Qualifications Education or training in child development, education, or psychology Ability to travel to early childhood education centers using own vehicle Preferred Qualifications Prior work with early childhood education centers, teachers, and/or young children Education or training in early childhood education and development Prior experience in a research lab in HDFS, psychology, or education Application Materials Please upload the following application materials: Resume or CV Brief cover letter (200 words max) describing: 1.
