Tourism Distribution Coordinator

Ferry's Tale of Pig Island is seeking an experienced professional to expand our distribution network and build relationships with hotels, resorts, gift shops, airport retailers, attractions, tour operators, cruise-related businesses, and other tourism partners throughout The Bahamas.

Responsibilities

• Visit existing reseller locations regularly
• Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment
• Improve merchandising, signage, and product visibility
• Train front desk, concierge, and retail staff
• Secure meetings with new distribution partners
• Pursue hotel, airport, cruise, attraction, tour, and retail opportunities
• Identify large-volume wholesale opportunities
• Maintain accurate CRM records using Google Sheets
• Provide weekly reports and photographic documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of hospitality, tourism, retail, business development, or hotel operations experience
• Established network within the Bahamian tourism and hospitality sector
• Advanced Google Sheets proficiency
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's licence
• Smartphone for reporting and photos
• Ability to lift and transport up to 40 lbs
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Contract Term: Initial 60-day contract with potential extension.
• Compensation: Monthly contract fee, commission, or hybrid structure based on experience.
