About The Role

Job Summary

  • The HR Manager will provide strategic and operational support to the leadership team of
  • Enviroscape, helping to shape a productive, compliant, and people-frst work environment.
  • This role will oversee all aspects of human resources including staƯing, compensation, labor
  • relations, benefts administration, training and development, employee engagement, and
  • HR compliance. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded HR generalist who thrives in a
  • hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & StaƯing
  •  Update and maintain accurate job descriptions and role requirements for all
  • positions
  •  Establish and manage recruiting, screening, testing, and interviewing processes
  •  Conduct and analyze exit interviews to identify improvement opportunities
  •  Design competitive and equitable salary structures aligned with industry standards

Onboarding & Training

  •  Conduct onboarding and orientation programs to align new employees with company
  • vision and expectations
  •  Organize and deliver training programs including safety, CPR, and fre management
  •  Maintain and train team members on the HR system

Attendance & Absence Management

  •  Monitor planned and unplanned absences (e.g., vacation, leave, suspension)
  •  Coordinate coverage to ensure operational continuity
  •  Notify supervisors of unexpected absences and support real-time response planning

Compensation & Benefits

  •  Administer employee benefits programs and communicate updates to staff
  •  Evaluate and recommend benefit contracts; manage claims processes
  •  Design and revise compensation plans; conduct job evaluations and prepare salary
  • budgets
  •  Oversee/prepare payroll and ensures posting on a weekly basis.

Employee Relations & Performance

  •  Support employee coaching, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
  •  Schedule and participate in employee-management meetings and grievance
  • resolutions
  •  Maintain accurate documentation of disciplinary and corrective actions

HR Compliance & Legal

  •  Ensure compliance with labor laws, immigration laws, and National Insurance
  • regulations
  •  Manage all aspects of work permit tracking for non-Bahamian employees
  •  Conduct internal investigations (e.g., fraud, incidents) and represent the company in
  • hearings
  •  Compile and file client security applications for property access.

Health & Safety

  •  Investigate workplace incidents and prepare reports for insurance claims
  •  Promote adherence to safety policies and procedures across departments

HR Policies & Reporting

  •  Maintain and update the employee manual; ensure staff awareness of changes
  •  Develop and implement HR policies and best practices
  •  Prepare and submit monthly HR reports and NIB C10s to the Finance Manager
  •  Maintain organized fling systems for personnel records and employment eligibility

Culture & Engagement

  •  Plan employee events, staff meetings, and recognition programs
  •  Foster a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture

Professional Development

  •  Stay current with HR trends and regulations through workshops, networking, and
  • professional societies
  •  Recommend and implement development and leadership programs

Qualifications & Competencies

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, or related
  • field
  •  4–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager
  •  Sound knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law
  •  Ability to build positive relationships with staff and management
  •  Strong communication and presentation skills—both written and verbal
  •  Strong working knowledge of employment legislation, immigration procedures, and
  • HR best practices.
  •  Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  •  Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS platforms
  •  Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially

Working Conditions

  •  Office based with occasional visits to field job sites.
  •  May require extended hours during peak landscaping seasons or hiring cycles.
