In response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Production Scheduling team, working on production scheduling technology that lives as its own dedicated application.

You will lead and grow a software development team of 5 engineers
You will be hands-on enough to understand the technical architecture and direction of the product, without needing to code day-to-day
You will help define what "great" looks like for the team, in collaboration with the team itself

Proven experience leading a software development team
A software development background: understanding of architecture and technical trade-offs
Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills: able to bring out the best in a technically strong, opinionated team without being overly directive
Experience in manufacturing operations and how planning tools are used in practice
Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy
Fluent in written and spoken English
As a bonus, we consider the experience of working with an international team, plus great communication and organizational skills
What we consider an advantage
Specific experience with production scheduling, whether building it or using it (e.g. Preactor, OMP, Kinaxis, or similar APS tools)
