About The Role

Duties

  • (a) To provide consultative advice to schools on the implementation of the 3-Tier Autism Intervention Model (the AIM Model) and to demonstrate effective strategies to teachers;
  • (b) To organise professional training for teachers on the implementation of the AIM Model;
  • (c) To compile effective practices of schools and service providers in the implementation of the AIM Model and Strength-Based Programmes;
  • (d) To assist in conducting on-site visits to monitor the implementation of the Strength-Based Programmes;
  • (e) To review and assess the effectiveness of schools' implementation of the AIM Model;
  • (f) To provide administrative support for the implementation of the NGO-School Collaboration Initiative;
  • (g) To monitor the services provided by the NGO-School Collaboration Initiative; and
  • (h) To perform other duties as assigned.

Entry Requirements

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent;

(b) A Postgraduate Diploma / Certificate in Education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;

(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 [See Note 1] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and

(d) A minimum of 12 years' relevant experience [See Note 2] in educational, social work or rehabilitation settings after obtaining (a) above. Experience in administration and financial management, management of large-scale project work or provision of services for students with autism spectrum disorder preferred.

Pay

$82,325 per month

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.
