Mechanical Technician

As a Mechanical Technician at Ciner Glass Belgium, you ensure the safe and efficient operation of the production installations. You perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to improvements in the production process.

Your responsibilities

Perform preventive, corrective, and curative mechanical maintenance

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues

Assemble, disassemble, and modify equipment

Coordinate maintenance activities

Read and create technical work instructions

Record and monitor maintenance activities

Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to improvement projects

As a Mechanical Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery. You work both independently and as part of a team, supporting production with your technical expertise.

Required qualifications and skills

• Technical diploma, preferably in mechanics
• Strong mechanical skills and a hands-on mindset
• Experience in maintenance or technical support in an industrial environment
• Mechanical knowledge for diagnosing and repairing machines
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to work in a 6-shift system or day shift
