JOB SUMMARY: Warehouse Clerks are important to our distribution center operations, performing a range of job functions to ensure the right products are available at our stores. Associates in this role are assigned a variety of responsibilities based on skill, experience, and dynamic business needs. DESCRIPTION OF TASKS: The Warehouse Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, receiving, and maintaining accurate records of warehouse activities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Payroll Reviews timeclock punches for accuracy and correct tracking of work hours performed by warehouse staff. Shipping Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to order specification. Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity. Receiving Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks using forklifts or other equipment as needed. Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and accurately record received items into the inventory system. Maintain organized and clean warehouse space to facilitate efficient workflow and safe working conditions. Order Processor Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner. Inventory Control Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues that may arise. Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate stock levels. Verifies pick and reserve locations, confirms accuracy of reported inventory, and makes adjustments as necessary. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
