About The Role

Key Responsibilities · Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for PTL and FTL services/platforms, aligning with company OKRs and business goals. · Partner with operations, pricing, and network planning teams to design products that optimize truckload utilization, lane density, and freight matching. · Translate business and customer requirements (shippers, carriers, brokers) into detailed product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. · Work closely with engineering and design teams to ship features such as load booking, tracking/visibility, capacity forecasting, dynamic pricing, and carrier onboarding. · Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and industry benchmarks (e.g., DHL, SafeExpress, Ship Rocket, DHL data) to identify opportunities for differentiation. · Define and track key metrics: tender acceptance rate, on-time pickup/delivery, cost per mile, load-to-truck ratio, capacity utilization, NPS. · Collaborate with sales and customer success to gather feedback and prioritize enhancements that reduce friction for shippers and carriers. · Manage the product backlog, prioritize features using data-driven frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW, etc.), and run sprint planning with cross-functional teams. · Ensure compliance E-waybill and other relevant transportation regulations where applicable to product features. · Drive go-to-market plans for new features, including internal enablement, documentation, and customer communication. · Required Qualifications · 10–15 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in freight, logistics, supply chain, or transportation technology. · Strong understanding of truckload freight operations — FTL, PTL distinctions, tendering, dispatch, and carrier networks. · Experience working with TMS (Transportation Management Systems), load boards, or freight marketplaces. · Proven ability to translate complex operational workflows into intuitive product experiences. · Data-driven mindset with proficiency in SQL and analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, or similar). · Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills — able to work with engineers, ops teams, and external partners. · Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field Preferred Qualifications · Experience with pricing/rating engines, dynamic freight pricing, or capacity forecasting models. · Familiarity with EDI/API integrations common in freight tech (e.g., tender/response, track-and-trace). · Background at a freight brokerage, 3PL, carrier, or logistics SaaS company. · Experience with agile product development methodologies.
