About The Role

We are seeking an organized, proactive Tenant Placement Specialist to manage the end-to-end tenant sourcing and screening process remotely. You will handle property marketing, applicant vetting, and lease execution to ensure quick turnarounds and high-quality placements. Key Responsibilities Listing & Marketing Management: Create, post, and optimize property listings across rental platforms (Zillow, Facebook Marketplace, <Apartments.com>). Lead Handling & Communication: Respond promptly to rental inquiries, answer questions about properties, and pre-qualify potential applicants. Virtual Showing Coordination: Schedule and facilitate self-guided or virtual property tours with prospective tenants. Tenant Screening: Review applications, verify income/employment, run credit and criminal background checks, and check landlord references. Lease Preparation: Draft, issue, and track e-signatures for lease agreements and property disclosures. Move-In Onboarding: Coordinate move-in dates, security deposit collection, and utility transfer steps with approved tenants. Qualifications & Requirements 1+ years of experience in leasing, property management, or real estate virtual assistance. (Preferred) Proficiency with property management platforms (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, RentRedi, or similar). (Preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail. Reliable high-speed internet, a dedicated quiet workspace, and a functional computer setup. Familiarity with local Fair Housing guidelines and leasing regulations. Preferred Skills Experience using e-signature tools (DocuSign, HelloSign) and CRM software. Background in customer service or remote sales inside sales.
