Role Summary • You will lead quality assurance and technical quality execution for the General Management function, ensuring garment quality standards are consistently met across fabric inspection, cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing. • In this Sr. Manager role, you will drive quality systems, technical oversight, buyer compliance, and continuous improvement to support reliable output and customer expectations. • You will work closely with production, QA, and buyer-facing teams to strengthen process discipline, reduce defects, and ensure adherence to approved SOPs, technical packs, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities • Lead quality control activities across all stages, including fabric inspection, cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing. • Set up, monitor, and improve AQL systems, inline inspections, and end-line inspections. • Drive continuous improvement in quality systems and work to reduce defect rates. • Handle buyer audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to quality SOPs, manuals, and customer requirements. • Investigate quality complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Manage final inspection reports, quality documentation, and dashboards. • Provide technical guidance to production and quality teams on garment construction, sewing techniques, finishing, measurements, and specifications. • Approve new styles from a technical feasibility perspective during development and sampling. • Lead technical trials, pilot runs, and pre-production meetings. • Standardize methods and ensure operators follow correct sewing techniques and approved construction standards. • Resolve production issues related to construction, measurements, fit, and specifications. • Liaise with buyers’ QA/QC teams and address technical and quality queries. • Ensure buyer SOPs, technical packs, and measurement guidelines are followed. • Drive compliance for quality certifications and technical audits such as ISO and WRAP. • Lead and train QA inspectors, inline checkers, technicians, and auditors. • Organize training for production and QA staff on quality standards and technical improvements. Encourage teamwork and accountability across quality checkpoints.
