Job Purpose
The Inn Adventures Attendant is responsible for assisting in the daily operation of Inn Adventures. The individual must be able to provide information to guest/member inquires and coordinate requests in a courteous and efficient manner. The Inn Adventures Attendant must be a self-motivated individual that can accomplish the day’s goals in a timely manner.
Job Duties
- Adheres to the Gasparilla Inn’s 4 Steps to Memorable Service.
- Exhibit’s the Gasparilla Inn’s Core Values.
- Perform daily duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor to include maintaining the rental fleet of golf carts bikes, kayaks and paddle-boards.
- Assist guests/members with the rental of equipment, including delivering equipment.
- Maintain proper storage of supplies in a safe and clean space.
- Partners with other team members to make sure that all guests are able to have a fun and safe experience.
- Ensure proper safety practices are followed.
- Assist with activities and games that are appropriate for the age and ability of the individuals attending the activity.
- Provides daily reports to supervisor and reports any issues of concern.
- Responds to emergency situations and safety situations in accordance to all established processes in place.
- Work as a team player.
- Complete all data entry/computer requirements accurately on a daily basis.
- All other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Assignments
This position is both an administrative and active position and will require equipment to be moved weighing up to approximately 50 pounds. This position may be exposed to hazards such as adverse weather conditions, loud noise, frequent and extra working hours due to demands of events, and other related factors such as upset guests if something does not goes as originally planned. You must be comfortable with water safety and be able to respond to water safety events on tours, which could potentially become high stress situations. This position is also required to work events during weekend hours, and nights as determined by event needs.

Required
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outgoing and professional demeanor
- Must be 16 years of age and have a driver’s license.
Preferred
- One or more years’ experience working in the hospitality field.
- Paddle Sports Facilitator certification
- High School Diploma
