Registered Nurse - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath Lab

Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the procedural. Provides peri-operative care to outpatient and inpatient populations undergoing cardiac, peripheral-vascular, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsible for admission, comprehensive physical assessment, medication reconciliation, peri-operative education, initiation of intravenous access, and comprehensive post-procedure care, including management and discontinuation of arterial and venous access sheaths, for these patient populations.
