IT Network Technician

Northwest Mississippi Community College (NWCC) seeks a qualified and customer-focused Network Technician to support the College's technology infrastructure and end users. The Network Technician provides technical assistance to faculty and staff by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, network, and communications-related issues. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, relocating, upgrading, and repairing personal computers and peripheral equipment across campus offices and classrooms. The Network Technician also assists with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network-connected systems, including access control systems, audio-visual equipment, security camera systems, and VoIP telephone services. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support the operational needs of the Information Technology Department.
