Customer Service & Sales Support

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Provide excellent Customer Service through the processing of internal and external customer orders. Work as an integral part of the Sales Team to ensure customer service targets are met, satisfy the requirements of all internal and external customers by exceeding their expectations and thereby maximizing sales, profit and market share.

Key Accountabilities

• -
• Enter and coordinate customer orders including processing, availability, lead times, status of orders, delays etc.
• -
• Provide an excellent level of friendly & professional customer service and sales support.
• -
• Develop a thorough understanding of Avery Dennison products and processes.
• -
• Develop technical knowledge of product and applications including customer conversion methods and end user applications.
• -
• Prepare samples for customers in Japan, send them timely and manage the levels of sample inventory.
• -
• Issue and send invoices for customers.
• -
• Participate in sales meetings to ensure alignment within the team

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• -
• Liaise & cooperate with personnel from the Sales and Marketing, Logistics, Supply chain and Operations.
• -
• Contribute to Improve work efficiency
• -
• Coordinate customer complaints and enquiries as required in an efficient and professional manner and ensure that the Supervisor is advised of all major complaints.
• -
• Provide backup support to the Distribution Centre Supervisor on day to day production functions. (Slitting Schedule, Dispatch & delivery schedule, Inventory transactions etc.)
• -
• Report on and input to inventory management programs and recommended changes to inventory stock levels, if required.
• -
• Report on Delivery to Promise, Delivery to Request and invoice accuracy metrics.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

• -
• Associate's degree required
• -
• At least three years Customer Service or/and Sales Support experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• -
• Exposure to Sales or Supply Chain / Logistics will be well regarded.

Essential Technical Skills

• -
• General business process understanding, with knowledge of the links between customer orders, production planning and manufacturing, sales support, and customer delivery.
• -
• A relatively high level of computer skills, with preference being given to ERP experience (MFGPro, Oracle, SAP etc) , Windows, Google, Excel Spreadsheets, etc.
• -
• Motivated, result oriented, self driven and a sense of ‘can do’
• -
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both internally and externally
• -
• Ability to work unsupervised
• -
• Customer focused mindset
• -
• Good English Skills (TOEIC above 600) is preferred (mostly reading and writing)
