About The Role

  • We are a global technology group, headquartered in London. We deploy experts and frontier technology, like AI, to help organisations thrive through change.
  • We have over 600 professionals (>75% hands-on technical talent) spread across Europe, North America and Asia, and are backed by Marlin Equity Partners.

We help customers

Work smarter – Building modern, scalable infrastructure, apps and workflows that actually improve your bottom line.

Engage personally – Creating digital experiences that capture attention, convert sales, and keep customers coming back.

Stay secure – Establishing the security, governance and compliance systems that protect you from threats, fines, and downtime.

We work with some of the world's biggest brands to solve their biggest problems. From highly regulated financial institutions to fast-moving tech unicorns and global retailers.

Different worlds, same standard: we ship tangible outcomes into production, fast. Then we work alongside customers to maintain and optimise them long term, upskilling their teams along the way.

Work where work matters.

Working at the critical nexus of data, processes, and technology, you will serve as a GTM Systems Specialist (primarily Salesforce). In this capacity, you are tasked with supporting the architecture design, implementation, and continuous refinement of the technology underpinning Beyond’s commercial engine.

At Beyond, we believe in work that leaves a mark. This role is for the innovative people who thrive on solving problems that don't have answers yet, for those who are accountable for tangible outcomes, and for individuals who act with integrity when it absolutely has to work.

Role Responsibilities

Salesforce

Salesforce is the primary system of record for the commercial organisation. You will be a complete Salesforce Admin; the authoritative technical voice on all platform configuration and development work:

  • Data architecture: Design and maintain the data model - custom objects, fields, and relationships - to accurately represent business entities and support reporting at scale.
  • Flow development: Build and manage complex, multi-step flows (screen flows, record-triggered flows, scheduled flows, and auto-launched flows) to encapsulate business logic, enforce process guardrails, and automate operational tasks.
  • API integration: Design and implement HTTP callouts to integrate Salesforce with external API endpoints, including authentication handling (OAuth 2.0, API keys), error management, retry logic, and governor-limit-aware patterns.
  • Security and access control: Own the security model - profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, and sharing rules - ensuring appropriate data controls are enforced in the platform.
  • Metadata governance: Maintain clean metadata management practices: use change sets or a source-driven development approach (SFDX), enforce naming conventions, and document configuration decisions.
  • Reporting and Dashboarding: Proven experience of translating business tracking needs in to robust reporting frameworks.

Revenue technology ecosystem
Salesforce does not operate in isolation. You will maintain an informed view across the wider commercial technology stack:

  • Integration architecture: Understand data flows between Salesforce, HubSpot, and DealHub (both integrated using Out of the Box functionality offered by respective platforms).
  • Integration health: Diagnose and resolve integration issues proactively, including sync conflicts, duplicate record management, and API throttling, before they affect commercial operations.
  • Finance systems integration: Knowledge of NetSuite and associated integration patterns is a plus.

Stakeholder partnership and delivery

  • Translate commercial requirements from Sales, Marketing, and Finance into precise technical specifications before any build work begins - avoiding rework through clarity upfront.
  • Communicate system design decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including trade-offs between approaches and the long-term implications of configuration choices.
  • Manage a prioritised backlog of system improvements, working with the Director of Go-to-Market and broader GTM team to sequence work against commercial impact.
  • Contribute to data quality programmes - field hygiene, validation rules, duplicate management - that improve the reliability of commercial reporting.
  • Salesforce proficiency: Demonstrable, hands-on experience as a Salesforce administrator or developer in a B2B commercial environment, with a track record of delivering well-architected configurations.
  • Flow engineering: Deep expertise in Salesforce Flow: able to design complex, branching, multi-object flows from first principles, debug governor limit issues, and optimise for bulk-safe execution.
  • API and callout development: Hands-on experience with HTTP callouts from Salesforce: constructing REST requests, handling JSON responses, managing Named Credentials, and writing robust error-handling logic.
  • Data modelling: Strong data model intuition - understanding when to extend standard objects vs. create custom ones, how lookup vs. master-detail relationships affect behaviour, and rollup summary and formula field design.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification is expected, or very strong experience to the same standard

Integration and adjacent systems (good to have)

  • HubSpot: Familiarity with HubSpot
  • DealHub / CPQ: Working knowledge of DealHub (or equivalent CPQ platforms such as Salesforce CPQ or Conga)
  • API literacy: Comfort reading and writing REST API specifications, and diagnosing issues using tools such as Postman or equivalent.

Analytical and professional skills

  • Able to work with ambiguous commercial requirements, ask the right clarifying questions, and produce a structured technical specification independently.
  • Methodical approach to testing - building test scenarios that reflect real business edge cases, not just happy-path validation.
  • Strong written communication: able to document system design decisions, integration architecture, and configuration choices in a form that survives staff turnover.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where commercial priorities shift and the ability to re-sequence work without losing quality is essential.

We believe in supporting our team members both professionally and personally. Here's how we invest in you

Compensation and Financial Wellbeing

  • Competitive base salary.
  • De Minimis Allowance.
  • 13th Month Pay: Equivalent to one month’s base salary, paid every December.

Health and Wellness

  • Medical Insurance: HMO coverage for the employee plus up to two dependents (employer-paid).
  • Sick Leave: 15 paid days per year, pro-rated from the start date.

Work-Life Balance and Growth

  • Annual Leave: 28 days per calendar year (January 1 – December 31), pro-rated based on start date.
