About The Role

What You’ll Do:We're looking for a Brand Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team inLos Angeles or New York City on a 6-month fixed term contract basis. In this role, youwill be responsible for the creative components of Nexxen’s global marketingcampaigns, designing digital ads, video assets, presentations, digital assets acrossemail, web, and social media properties, and experiential assets including signage,invitations and event landing pages and microsites that help us to own our space in thedigital advertising industry. The Brand Designer will drive our visual identity forward,producing exceptional, visually engaging, impactful designs that represent and elevateNexxen’s brand identity.Reporting into the Director, Brand Design, you will apply your experience and broadenyour expertise in bringing our brand stories to life via multiple creative campaigns anddeliverables.Our team follows a hybrid schedule working in-office three days a week and remotelyfor the rest.Each day can be different here at Nexxen, but some of the things you can expectto be doing daily include:• Embrace project ownership and design vision in the creation of branded digitaland experiential marketing materials• Collaborate with different teams at all levels, driving projects autonomously fromstart to finish, anticipating, addressing and managing stakeholder feedback,approval, and post-campaign follow-up• Apply broad knowledge of design with a hands-on approach and high skill levelsin branding, digital design, presentation design, and motion graphics• Create thoughtful, narrative-driven visual experiences — with a strong grasp ofhierarchy, flow, familiarity with basic Ux/UI principles and storytelling acrossformats like product launches, research decks, experiential activations andcampaigns• Balance creativity with performance by applying a strategic lens to everythingfrom display ads to video content• Contribute fresh ideas and challenge the status quo by bringing curiosity,strategic thinking, and intuition to how the Nexxen brand is experienced andperceived across every touchpoint• Work iteratively, adapting quickly and collaborating with agility across cross-functional teamsWhat Will I Bring?• 3–5 years of relevant experience in brand design, ideally – but not required – in aB2B SaaS environment or agency supporting technology-focused brands• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere Pro), plus familiar with AI tools• Proficient in designing motion graphics for video content, including animations tosupplement talking head long-form video, short-form explainers, sizzles, andsocial-first video assets• Visualization and presentation skills to convey ideas clearly through storyboards,mood boards, wireframes, mockups, etc., during the creative developmentprocess• Ability to design PowerPoint presentations and research reports that are bothbrand-consistent and visually engaging• Experience creating compelling display ad creatives, with an understanding ofdigital ad spaces and performance best practices• Experience creating HTML emails using modular design system ofCRM/Marketing platforms, with a mobile first strong understanding of layout, andformattingComfortable working with WordPress/Elementor and solid understanding of basicUX/UI design principles• Excellent time management and organizational skills—able to juggle multipleprojects, meet tight deadlines, and adhere to processes• Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable receiving feedbackand working cross-functionally with the Digital, Research, and Operations team• Dedication to staying up to date on emerging design trends, tools, andtechnologies to keep our assets fresh, while still following brand guidelines• Positive, solutions-focused disposition to proactively resolve challenges andmitigate risks to project plans• Ad tech industry experience is not required, but an intellectual curiosity to learnmore about the industry is preferredFor information about how we handle your personal information please view our Applicant and Candidate Privacy NoticeImportant Notice from Nexxen: Your Safety MattersAt Nexxen, we care about the well-being of our current and future employees.
