Finance Manager

Main responsibilities

1. Business Support & Management Consulting

• Business Partnering — Sparring for GM, Operations, Sales
• Strategic analyses — profitability, pricing, product mix, scenarios
• Potential for success — identification of growth, efficiency and margin levers
• Management Consulting — Recommendations, Basis for Decision-making, Business Cases
• Performance control — KPIs, dashboards, target systems
• Part of the management team — active role in meetings, decisions and priorities

1. Classic Finance Responsibility

• Financial controlling — monthly financial statements, forecasts, variance analyses
• Accounting Control — Compliance, Audit Readiness
• Cash Management — Liquidity, Payment Approvals
• Reporting to HQ — complete, undistorted data
• Process discipline — SOPs, Policies, Delegation of Authority
• Risk Management — Identify risks, escalate them at an early stage
• Team leadership — further development of the local finance team

Reporting Lines & Governance

• The role reports directly to the MD, with a functional reporting line to the CFO
• Functional independence from local operational managers
• Active member of the local management team
• Obligation to escalate data deviations or political interventions

Professional requirements

• Controlling Excellence — strong analytical skills

• Experience in international companies — ideally in matrix organizations or multinational production environments
• Tax audit experience — dealing with local authorities, documentation, preparation, risk management
• IFRS/Local GAAP
• Audit Experience — External and Internal Audits
• SAP experience — confident handling of FI/CO, ideally also MM/PP
• English and or German

• Senior Finance Manager
• At least 10 years of experience in senior finance roles
• Experience in international companies
