NDT Penetrant Inspector - B Shift Evaluate manufactured parts for minor surface cracks and indications of surface imperfections or defects by use of Liquid Penetrant inspection. Who are we? Allows penetrant to dwell on parts for specified period. Performs penetrant final rinse with water spray. Places parts in development tank for allotted time. Evaluates parts under UV light to detect minor surface cracks and/or indications of surface imperfections or defects under the supervision of a NDT level 2 or 3. Performs post penetrant cleaning of parts before forwarding on to next process/department. Accurately records required information in customer required log books. Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area. Must be willing and able to work overtime as necessary. Acceptable attendance is an essential function of the position. Performs other duties as assigned or required by the position.
