We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students from age four to twenty. We hire only the best - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and pay much higher wages than the industry average.

Job Summary

• We are currently looking for an experienced tutor to
• support two homeschool families in Southwest Calgary during the upcoming school year.
• Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the
• Alberta curriculum
• .
• Provide individualized instruction and supplemental assignments to students to help promote greater understanding of material.
• Provide remedial and enrichment support for students based on their individual learning needs.
• Support students at the
• Elementary (Grade 4) and Junior High (Grade 7) levels
• across a variety of subjects.
• Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and learning goals.
• Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for students.
• The schedule will be approximately 10 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday
• during daytime hours

A qualified applicant will meet the following criteria

• You hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
• You have experience providing one-on-one tutoring.
• You have experience teaching students at the Elementary and Junior High levels.
• You have strong knowledge of the Alberta curriculum.
• You have access to a reliable vehicle.
• You are available during
• daytime hours Monday through Wednesday.
• You are able to commit to the
• full school year beginning in mid-September.
