STARK is seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Maintenance Technician for our Calhoun, GA location. This is a working lead position for someone who can provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the maintenance team while also working alongside them to perform repairs, troubleshoot equipment, and complete preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a strong mechanical troubleshooter who is comfortable getting their hands dirty and working directly on machinery, equipment, and facility systems . This is not a desk-based supervisory role—the Lead Maintenance Technician will be expected to actively participate in maintenance work while helping coordinate priorities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time Hiring/Retention Bonus: Up to $1,000 within the first year! Bonus details provided during the interview. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a hands-on working lead , actively performing maintenance and repairs alongside the maintenance team. Help lead, coordinate, and prioritize daily maintenance activities based on operational needs. Provide guidance and support to maintenance technicians while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems. Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and complete repairs in a timely manner. Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems . Respond to equipment breakdowns and work directly on machinery to minimize downtime. Assist with maintaining warehouse and facility infrastructure, equipment, tools, lighting, and other building systems. Monitor preventative maintenance schedules and help ensure required maintenance is completed on time. Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and repair records. Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend solutions or improvements. Ensure maintenance tools, equipment, parts, and work areas are kept organized, clean, and safe. Promote and follow all company safety procedures and maintenance best practices. Help train and support maintenance team members as needed. Communicate equipment concerns, repair status, and maintenance needs to management. Perform other maintenance-related tasks and duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or facilities maintenance experience required. Strong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience. Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Previous lead or team leadership experience preferred. Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Willingness to work alongside the team and personally perform repairs and maintenance work on a daily basis . Strong communication skills and a safety-focused mindset.
