SAP S/4 Technical Developer

Job Title: SAP S/4 Technical Development Lead (Developer) End Client: Hitachi Duration: Contract, Inabia W2 Location : Dublin / Columbus, OH — local candidates strongly preferred Work Arrangement: Onsite for the first 2–3 months, then reduced to monthly or bi-weekly onsite visits Travel : Non-local (traveler) candidates are responsible for their own travel costs NO C2C ROLE OVERVIEW Covers Development & Integration. Defines and leads the overall development, integration, and extensibility strategy for the SAP S/4HANA program. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Define and lead the overall development, integration, and extensibility strategy for the SAP S/4HANA program • Own end-to-end integration architecture and delivery approach across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, external applications, legacy systems, and cloud platforms • Establish and govern integration standards (API-led, event-driven, file-based, middleware, real-time, batch) • Lead the development strategy for custom applications, extensions, WRICEF objects, workflows, forms, reports, and interfaces while enforcing SAP Clean Core principles • Define development standards, coding guidelines, and reusable development frameworks across ABAP, BTP, Fiori, SAP Build, Integration Suite • Lead technical design reviews for custom developments and integrations • Oversee DevOps, transport management, source code management, CI/CD, and release management • Define testing strategies for integrations and custom developments REQUIRED SKILLS • S/4 certification preferred • 10+ years' experience in Development, Basis, Security, GRC • SAP suite of products technical architecture required; hands-on SAP Basis desired • Cloud infrastructure and Security & GRC hands-on experience required • Knowledge in SAP Cloud ALM required
