Ready to take the next step in your nursing career? Southern Health Partners is looking for a Full Time RN Medical Team Administrator (MTA) to provide clinical leadership and site oversight at the Cabarrus County Jail.

This position combines nursing expertise, team leadership, and administrative responsibility. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, while helping ensure the healthcare program operates smoothly and patients receive quality care.

What You'll Do

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the site's healthcare program
  • Coordinate daily operations of the medical team
  • Provide nursing care and treatment as needed
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Monitor patient care and ensure appropriate follow-up
  • Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, facility leadership, and corporate support
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage needs
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company, facility, and regulatory standards
  • Serve as a clinical resource and leader for the healthcare team
  • Participate in on call responsibilities as needed
  • Address clinical and operational concerns and escalate appropriately

QualificationsWhat You Bring

  • Current RN license in the state of North Carolina
  • Current CPR certification
  • Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
