Job Description & Summary: PwC India is seeking a highly experienced and strategic AI / ML Senior Manager to lead the development and delivery of enterprise-scale Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions for clients across industries. The role involves driving AI transformation initiatives, architecting innovative AI-powered products, managing large and diverse teams, and translating business challenges into scalable technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in AI/ML, strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-impact AI programs. This position will play a critical role in shaping AI strategy, solution offerings, innovation, and thought leadership while driving measurable business outcomes for clients. Job Position Title: IN_Senior Manager_AI & ML_D&A_Advisory_PAN India Responsibilities: Lead large-scale AI, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, and Generative AI engagements from strategy through implementation and operationalization. Define AI roadmaps and transformation strategies that align with client business objectives and deliver measurable value. Architect and oversee the development of predictive models, recommendation engines, NLP solutions, computer vision applications, and GenAI-powered platforms. Drive AI innovation by leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI frameworks, and enterprise AI architectures. Manage and mentor high-performing teams of data scientists, AI engineers, machine learning engineers, and analytics consultants. Collaborate closely with business leaders, technology teams, data engineers, architects, and client stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI use cases. Establish AI/ML engineering best practices including MLOps, LLMOps, model governance, deployment automation, monitoring, and lifecycle management. Lead AI solution architecture discussions and provide technical guidance on selecting appropriate algorithms, frameworks, platforms, and deployment approaches. Ensure adherence to Responsible AI principles, model explainability, fairness, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements. Drive executive-level presentations, workshops, and strategic discussions with senior client stakeholders and leadership teams. Support business development initiatives through proposal creation, solution design, effort estimation, client pitches, and go-to-market offerings. Build AI accelerators, reusable frameworks, and intellectual property assets to enhance delivery efficiency and market differentiation. Monitor emerging industry trends and advancements in AI, Generative AI, autonomous agents, multimodal AI, and machine learning technologies. Drive organizational AI capability building, knowledge sharing, technical upskilling, and thought leadership initiatives. Mandatory Skill Sets: Strong hands-on and leadership experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Advanced Analytics, and enterprise AI solution development. Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and AI/ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, and related ecosystems. Proven experience designing and deploying Generative AI applications using LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Vector Databases, AI Agents, and orchestration frameworks. Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, feature engineering, optimization techniques, model evaluation, and explainability methodologies. Extensive experience implementing AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience establishing MLOps and LLMOps frameworks for automated model deployment, monitoring, governance, and continuous improvement. Strong understanding of AI governance, model risk management, responsible AI, privacy regulations, and enterprise AI security practices. Demonstrated leadership experience managing large teams, complex programs, and multi-stakeholder environments. Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive leadership. Ability to translate business problems into scalable AI-driven solutions and drive successful business outcomes. Preferred Skill Sets: Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or equivalent enterprise AI platforms. Hands-on exposure to Agentic AI, Autonomous Agents, AI Copilots, Multi-Agent Systems, and next-generation AI architectures. Knowledge of NLP techniques including document intelligence, information extraction, summarization, sentiment analysis, semantic search, and conversational AI. Experience with computer vision, image processing, multimodal AI, and intelligent automation solutions. Experience working with Databricks, Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, or large-scale distributed data processing technologies. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, MLflow, Kubeflow, and Terraform. Prior consulting experience delivering AI transformation programs across Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, Energy, Technology, or Public Sector domains. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data governance frameworks, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives. Professional certifications in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Azure, AWS, GCP, or related technologies will be an added advantage.
