Senior Accounting Analyst

About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical financial analyst to join our finance team. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement, supporting accurate accounting operations and informed business decisions. As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for a range of business activities and will respond to ad hoc requests by providing professional, data-driven and actionable analyses
What you're responsible for
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analyses
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs), reports and dashboards to bring insightful actionable data and support management decisions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
- Support internal and external audits, including documentation and audit requests
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor junior accounting staff as needed
To join our team
- You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- You are a CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- You have 3-5+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience
- You have Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- You have Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- You have Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365, Maximo ... )
- You have Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- You have the Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
