As an Intern in our Product Management team, you will be working closely with senior product managers as well as a diverse range of stakeholders across our commercial, marketing, operations and engineering teams. You will play an important role in the definition and execution of product analysis, design, documentation, rollout and optimisation across a range of features and initiatives, ultimately contributing to valuable solutions for our customers and merchants and the growth of ShopBack’s network.
This position is open for H1 2027 (December/Jan - Jun/July) applications.
Please note that we are only seeking interns who can commit on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6.30pm).
Your Adventure Ahead
Work with product managers and commercial partners to identify factors affecting product / feature performance and growth; refine KPIs, success metrics etc. to track product performance by deconstructing product strategy, goals and value propositions
Provide analytics support to product initiatives in your associated business functions including creating business cases to justify taking or not taking actions
Champion a better experience for users by 1) being the voice of users with the insights you generate; 2) collectively shaping & prioritizing feature decisions with quantitative input; 3) taking a sense of ownership on metrics and tracking to improve UX
Collaborate with PMs and local commercial partners to explore, recommend and drive alternative solutions end to end based on use cases and prioritization
Capture requirements from different stakeholders for new features, providing both a summary and the detail to ensure those features are successful
Essentials to Succeed
- Able to document, clarify, and break down processes into logical steps. Able to communicate these processes effectively either in written format or flow charts
- Has the ability to problem solve by breaking-down a problem into its component parts
- Capacity to communicate succinctly, with clarity and thoughtfulness
- Is able to provide actionable feedback on user interface and user experience designs
- Is able to interpret data and identify patterns to make hypothesis-driven decisions
- Is proactive with self-learning by reading documentation and seeking out domain experts
- AI Competency: Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to develop new or improve workflows, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency at scale.
- Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months, full time
- Proficient in using SQL and familiar with software development processes is a plus
