This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tech Lead Fullstack (Java/React) based in Brazil.
This is a senior technical leadership opportunity for someone who combines strong hands-on engineering skills with the ability to guide a development <team.You> will act as a key technical reference, connecting architectural direction with practical implementation across modern cloud-native systems.The role covers the full technology stack, from Java and Spring Boot backends to React frontends, APIs, integrations, and <infrastructure.You> will help shape technical decisions, identify risks and technical debt, and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and reliable.Working closely with architects and cross-functional teams, you will influence design while remaining close to day-to-day engineering execution.The environment emphasizes microservices, distributed systems, automation, observability, and continuous <delivery.It> is an ideal role for a technically mature professional who enjoys mentoring others, solving complex problems, and contributing directly to high-quality software delivery.
Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary technical reference for the development team, guiding design and implementation decisions while partnering closely with solution architects.
- Translate business requirements and architectural direction into clear, sustainable, and executable technical solutions.
- Lead the development of robust fullstack solutions across Java/Spring Boot, React, APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.
- Guide the implementation of microservices, REST APIs, messaging, asynchronous processing, and distributed system integrations.
- Conduct code reviews and promote clean code, design patterns, engineering standards, and development best practices.
- Monitor the complete development lifecycle, from technical refinement through deployment, ensuring consistency, quality, and delivery effectiveness.
- Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, scalability concerns, and technical debt, prioritizing improvements based on business and engineering impact.
- Investigate complex technical problems, conduct troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and coordinate incident and problem resolution.
- Contribute to architectural discussions by bringing practical implementation insights and helping evaluate technical alternatives.
- Mentor and technically develop team members, sharing knowledge and raising engineering standards across the team.
- Support CI/CD automation, deployment processes, traceability, and integration with quality and security tooling.
- Promote observability through effective use of logs, metrics, traces, monitoring, and diagnostic practices.
- Apply secure development practices, including vulnerability analysis and security considerations throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, software quality, investigation, and the team's overall engineering capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in software engineering with demonstrated technical leadership or Tech Lead responsibilities.
- Hands-on expertise with Java and Spring Boot, including REST APIs, microservices, messaging, asynchronous processing, and system integrations.
- Strong frontend development experience with React, including component architecture, state management, API integration, and frontend best practices.
- Fullstack perspective with the ability to understand and guide solutions end-to-end across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure.
- Solid knowledge of Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean-code practices.
- Experience with distributed systems, including synchronous and asynchronous communication, APIs, events, and service-to-service integration.
- Strong experience with AWS, particularly services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, ECS/EKS, and other relevant cloud-native technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, traceability, and integration with quality and security tools.
- Experience implementing automated testing, including unit, integration, and contract testing.
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), or equivalent technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and observability skills, including logs, metrics, traces, monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices and vulnerability management.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with architects, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong autonomy, analytical thinking, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable remaining hands-on when necessary while simultaneously providing technical direction and mentoring.
- Experience using AI tools as part of the software development and technical investigation workflow.
