About The Role
Shift: 1st Schedule: 6:45am to 3:15pm Pay rate: $19.25 to 27.00 (based on experience) This position is responsible for I warehouse implementation, certifications, set up, impacts, updating, policy enforcement, communication, W.O investigation, tracking. Will work closely with Sr. Team Leads, Safety manager and Distribution Manager on following proper procedures with our PIT equipment. This position assists in label verification on all incoming value-added products and frozen ingredients arriving at Burke. This involves pictures of labels, checking each label to assure it corresponds with the approved label on file with the correct ingredients and in order of predominance. Will work closely with Purchasing, QA, Operations and Accounting on any delivery discrepancies. This person assists in assembling packets for all incoming frozen check in paperwork and follows up on any issues or discrepancies. This person assists in export coordination and inspections. Assists in generating pick slips used in assembling orders and bills out orders . RESPONSIBILITIES: I warehouse updating, tracking, communication, impacts, setup, certifications for the plant Assists in Label verification of all incoming value added and frozen ingredient products and will need to communicate with the Distribution leads and Quality Assurance. Assists in Label verification with warehouse spices. Backs up and assists Inventory Control Clerk. Work with transportation, production, export coordinator, scheduling and USDA inspector on export loads for shipments and case quantities. Getting correct case counts to coordinator and correct stamp numbers to scheduling. 10% Knows and follows USDA guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. Will be required to work with and develop equipment and ideas deemed to be confidential information and/or trade secrets owned by the company. Will be required to protect the company's rights in and ownership of those trade secrets and confidential information. Performs other duties as assigned. Required to contribute to harmony in the workplace . QUALIFICATIONS: 6 months of work history Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions) Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines is required. Proficiency in Microsoft programs, such as Access, Word, Excel & PowerPoint is preferred. Knowledge of AS400, HDS, IWarehouse and Oracle is preferred. Self-motivated and able to work effectively under limited supervision. Strong problem solving & decision-making skills. Previous experience in Manufacturing is preferred.
