Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Aureol Global Connections seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to support ongoing Water/Wastewater maintenance and installation activities across the region.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will perform installation, repair, upgrades, and maintenance of mechanical systems within Water/Wastewater facilities. The role requires on-site mechanical work, customer support, and compliance with safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and mechanical installation for water/wastewater plants.
• Maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, and drive systems.
• Conduct system repairs, upgrades, and refurbishment.
• Install pumps and complete inspections and maintenance work.
• Work with pipework (PVC, DI, stainless steel).
• Support service and spare sales with technical input.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS, SSOW, and HSQE standards.
• Complete daily reports and documentation.
• Identify and propose improvements to systems and processes.

Requirements

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
• Water/Wastewater industry experience preferred.
• Experience with pumps, motors, drive systems essential.
• Chemical handling experience an advantage.
• Strong IT skills for reporting.
• Ability to work independently and make on-site decisions.
• Full clean driving licence.
