Senior Research Scientist; DMPK

The Senior Research Scientist, DMPK is an expert in the areas of DMPK and drug bioanalysis and metabolism. The principal responsibilities of the Senior Research Scientist are to execute research projects in these areas, as well as provide technical expertise to prepare cost estimates for non-standard business proposals and to expand capabilities and improve efficiencies for DMPK studies. The Senior Research Scientist is expected to demonstrate expertise in both the theoretical and practical aspects of mass spectrometry, to apply this expertise to the tasks assigned, and to develop novel assays and services as needed. Effective communication and multitasking skills, and the ability to deliver independent results within a team environment are all integral to this position. The Senior Research Scientist is encouraged to display a degree of professionalism reflected in part by increasing the scientist’s knowledge of theory and practice through reading scientific journals and texts.
