AVP External Affairs

The Associate Vice President(s) of External Affairs will assist the Vice President of External Affairs with managing partnerships with sponsors, suit donors, dry cleaners, and any other companies outside of UBC and Sauder.

Time Commitment

Typically 5 hours per week, up to 10 hours per week in September/January

Term of Employment

August 2026 - April 2027

Main Responsibilities

• Help with outreach to potential sponsors and donors
• Assist with maintaining relationships with dry cleaners
• Support sponsorship process for events by sending emails
• Work with Logistics team to understand event needs

Qualifications

• Organized and dependable
• Effective verbal and written communicator and team worker
• Confident in relationship-building
• Prior sponsorship outreach experience is an asset
