• Our client in the insurance sector, is seeking an experienced Functional Designer.

Objective of the job

• Ensure the stability and operability of the (sub)application
• Be in charge of translating business requirements into a structured IT solution while keeping a functional approach
• Help translating this functional design into well-tailored technical design
• Prepare functional integration test cases based on the requirements
• Test the product before delivery to the users
• Analyse potential corrective actions to be taken
• Coordinate technical designers and programmers during implementation of functionalities
• Work closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs
• Actively support the Project leaders in the project implementation

• Fluent in French and/or Dutch and good knowledge of English
• Master or Engineer in IT or in a scientific domain with IT interest. Bachelor with a minimum of 5 years' experience in technical analysis
• Experience with Application Development of Administrative Senior systems in an IT department
• Able to capture main topics in discussions with technical IT people Senior
• Mastering of MS-Office tools Senior
• Strong understanding of Source code Cobol MicroFocus and SQL server
• Web based Client/Server systems with MF back-end (Cobol MicroFocus / SQL server)
• Batch process experience
• Cobol MicroFocus / SQL server programming experience
• .NET ; SQL
• Functional analysis

Lead Functional Analyst
