Job Description

The Senior Duty Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the hostel's day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of services, the effective use of resources, and compliance with the company's quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the hostel, ensuring operational efficiency and high standards of service.
  • Oversee staff, human resources, and operational resources required for the effective running of the business.
  • Assess operational requirements, including workforce planning, resource allocation, and support for the various departments.
  • Coordinate activities across all hostel departments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, quality standards, and guest satisfaction.
  • Support cost control, budget management, and the efficient use of the hostel's resources.
  • Implement operational procedures and ensure compliance with internal policies, health and safety requirements, and all applicable legal obligations.
  • Support senior management in decision-making and continuous service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  •  Higher education qualification (Higher Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's degree) in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •  A minimum of five years' experience in hotel or hostel operations management.
  •  Strong leadership, organisational, planning, and decision-making skills.

Salary and Conditions

  • Annual Salary: €36.605
  • Hourly Rate: €18.05
  • Working Hours: 39 hours per week
