Software Engineer Intern (Philippines)

This intern will assist in completing outstanding projects by designing, developing, and testing software/programs. Your capability to develop a program will be beneficial to the company as a whole.

Key responsibilities

Develop software solutions, manage and maintain deployed Planate software and in-house systems

Assist in administering Corporate website and Web servers and conduct Web systems health monitoring and reporting

Perform technical writing, system documentation or project documentation

Protect operations by keeping confidential information

Collaborate with colleagues to meet departmental and company goals/objectives

Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions

Document and demonstrate solutions by developing the documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming

Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues

Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying system flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle

Handle coordination and ensure completion of IT projects within budget and timeline

Monitor, summarize and report project progress

Identify process/projects that can be automized

Coordinate with internal resources and ensure availability and execution for flawless completion of projects

Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Qualifications to be successful in the role

Ongoing completion of a degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering

Experienced in Office 365 tools experience, .NET Developer or Web Application Developer

Knowledgeable in Web Programming and Database management and Azure integration

Advance skills in troubleshooting on programming and debugging

Microsoft Designing and Developing Applications certification is advantage

Ability to write Stored Procedures, write complex SQL queries, and ability to analyze the SQL data is desired

Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Web Application Developer

Knowledgeable in:o Azure, SQL Server, MySQL, SharePoint, Office 365o MS PowerApps, MS Forms, MS Flows, VBAo Familiarity with the <ASP.NET> framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))o Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3o Knowledgeable in networking domain and active directory and security policy

Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Able to communicate with people of different nationalities and cultures
