Senior Account Executive - Public Sector

OverviewAs a Senior Account Executive at Microsoft, you will lead some of Sweden's most strategic public sector organizations through their digital transformation journeys. You will build trusted relationships with senior executives, develop long-term account strategies, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful business and societal outcomes. In this role, you will partner with government leaders to address complex challenges around AI, cybersecurity, digital sovereignty, data platforms, and modernization. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.ResponsibilitiesBuild and grow executive relationships across strategic Government accounts.Lead customer strategy, account planning, and business growth initiatives.Identify, shape, and close transformational opportunities across AI, Security, Modern Work, and Azure.Orchestrate virtual teams to deliver customer success and long-term business value.Serve as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers and influence strategic technology <investments.Drive> pipeline, forecast accuracy, and operational excellence across the assigned portfolio.Position Microsoft as the preferred partner for innovation, resilience, and digital transformation in the public sector.QualificationsWe're looking for a strategic leader with a passion for public sector transformation and a track record of influencing decision-making at the highest levels.Required/minimun qualifications:Master's Degree in Business Administration AND several years experience working in OR with public sector , driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology) OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND several years experience working in OR with public sector, driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology) OR equivalent experienceExperience in government, management consulting, technology, or business transformation rolesFluent in both Swedish and English languagesUnderstanding of AI, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, digital sovereignty, and critical infrastructurePreferred qualifications:Proven ability to engage and advise senior executives and public sector leaders on strategic prioritiesDemonstrated success in identifying new opportunities, driving growth, and leading complex stakeholder engagementProven communication, relationship-building, and executive presenceAbility to translate industry trends and policy developments into actionable business strategiesExperience driving thought leadership and representing organizations at industry events and executive forums Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Sweden is kr 874,000.00 - kr 1,439,000.00 per year.
