Director, PLM Job Description: Develops specific marketing plans and activities for the photodetector and PLC mux/demux products for the Lightwave Networking Components BU , and establish, enhance and distinguish product placement within the competitive arena. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace. Oversees market research, monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs. Establish pricing strategies and be accountable for the Product Lines P L. Manage assigned domestic and international accounts by providing directly or through the sales channel, new product information and roadmap material, sampling support, customer-specific specifications, expediting, and factory and quality support. Work with product development engineering, applications engineering, manufacturing and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
